What Is a Transaction Hash (TxID)?

A transaction hash (TxID) is a unique identifier assigned to every blockchain transaction. It allows users to locate and verify transaction details on the blockchain.

How to Track a Transaction

To track an on-chain transaction:

1. Copy the transaction hash (TxID) from your wallet

2. Open a Sepolia block explorer

3. Paste the TxID into the search field

4. Review the transaction status and details

Transaction Statuses Explained

• Pending – transaction is waiting for confirmation

• Success – transaction has been confirmed and completed

• Failed – transaction was not executed successfully

Each status provides additional details such as block number, gas used, and timestamps.

When to Take Action

• If a transaction is pending, wait for confirmation

• If a transaction failed, review the error and try again
