How to Make a Deposit on Heshket

Depositing assets allows users to fund their Heshket account and access exchange features. On Heshket, deposits can be made either off-chain (within the platform) or on-chain (via a blockchain network).

Before You Start

Before making a deposit, please ensure that:

• Your account has successfully completed Identity Verification (KYC)

• You are logged in to your Heshket account

• You understand the difference between off-chain and on-chain transfers

Deposits are not available for accounts without completed KYC verification.

How to Access the Deposit Page

To start a deposit:

1. Open your Heshket account

2. Go to Assets

3. Select Add Funds

You will see two available deposit options.

Option 1: Receive from Heshket Users (Off-Chain Deposit)

This option allows you to receive funds directly from another Heshket user within the platform.

How It Works

1. Select Receive from Heshket users

2. Choose the token

3. Enter the amount

4. Optionally add a note

5. Share the generated QR code with the sender

Once the sender completes the transfer, the funds will be credited to your account.

Option 2: On-Chain Deposit

This option allows you to receive funds via a blockchain transaction from an external wallet or platform.

• On-chain transfer via blockchain

• Requires network confirmation

• Subject to blockchain gas fees (paid by the sender)

How It Works

1. Select On-chain deposit

2. Choose the token

3. Select the blockchain network

4. Copy the generated deposit address

5. Share the address with the sender

6. Wait for the required blockchain confirmations

Once the transaction is confirmed, the funds will appear in your account balance.

Important Notes

• Always ensure the correct network is selected when making an on-chain deposit

• Sending assets on the wrong network may result in permanent loss

• Blockchain confirmation times may vary depending on network conditions

• Testnet deposits use test tokens and have no real-world value
