An authenticator app adds an extra layer of security to your Heshket account by generating one-time verification codes.
This guide explains how to download and connect Google Authenticator.
Step 1: Download Google Authenticator
For iOS (iPhone)
- Open the App Store.
- Search for Google Authenticator.
- Download and install the app.
For Android
- Open Google Play Store.
- Search for Google Authenticator.
- Download and install the app.
Step 2: Enable Two-Factor Authentication on Heshket
- Log in to your Heshket account.
- Go to Profile → Security Settings.
- Select Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
- A QR code and backup key will be displayed.
Important:
- Save the backup key in a secure place.
- Do not share it with anyone.
Step 3: Connect Google Authenticator
- Open the Google Authenticator app.
- Tap Add account.
- Choose Scan a QR code.
- Scan the QR code displayed on the Heshket website.
- A 6-digit verification code will appear in the app.
Step 4: Confirm and Finish Setup
- Enter the 6-digit code from Google Authenticator into Heshket.
- Confirm to complete the setup.
- Two-factor authentication is now enabled.
If you lose access to Google Authenticator
If you change your phone or lose access to the app:
- Use your backup key to restore access, or
- Contact Heshket Support through the Help Center for assistance

- Never share your authentication codes with anyone
- Heshket support will never ask for your 2FA codes
- Always keep your backup key stored securely
