Registering an Account and Completing Identity Verification (KYC) on Heshket

Introduction

To access the full range of Heshket products and services, users are required to create an account and complete identity verification (KYC).
This process helps ensure platform security, prevents fraud, and complies with regulatory requirements.

This guide walks you through the account registration process and explains how to successfully complete identity verification using the Heshket mobile application.

Getting Started with Account Registration

Follow the steps below to create your Heshket account:

1. Open the Heshket app
   Launch the application and tap Log In or Create new account.
2. Enter your email or phone number
   Provide a valid email address or phone number and tap Next.
3. Choose a sign-up method (optional)
   You can also register using:
   • Google
   • Apple
   • Telegram
4. Accept Privacy Policy and Terms
   Review the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, then confirm your acceptance to continue.
5. Complete initial account setup
   Once registration is successful, you will be redirected to the onboarding flow.
   
    

Starting Identity Verification (KYC)

To unlock full access to Heshket services, you must complete Intermediate Identity Verification.

1. Navigate to the Verify your identity screen.
2. Tap Verify now to begin the verification process.
3. Select your country of residence.
    

The verification process typically takes only a few minutes.

Choosing and Uploading Your Identity Document

Heshket supports multiple document types depending on your issuing country:

• Passport (photo page)
• Driver’s License (front and back)
• National Identity Card (front and back)
• Residence Permit (front and back)
   

Steps:

1. Select the issuing country.
2. Choose the document type.
3. Position the document within the frame and capture a clear photo.
4. Ensure all details are visible and readable.
    

If a blurry or unclear image is detected, you will be prompted to retake the photo.

Liveness Check (Face Verification)

As part of the verification process, you will be asked to complete a short face verification:

1. Follow on-screen instructions to record a short video of your face.
2. Ensure good lighting and remove accessories (hats, sunglasses).
3. Keep your face within the frame until the check is complete.
   
    

Providing Personal Information

You will be asked to enter basic personal details, including:

• Full legal name (as shown on your document)
• Nationality
• Date of birth
   

Make sure all information exactly matches your identity document.

Verification Status and Results

After submitting your information, your verification status will be updated automatically:

• Pending — verification is in progress
• Approved — identity successfully verified
• Failed / Rejected — verification unsuccessful, resubmission required
   

If verification fails, you will see a message explaining the reason and can try again.

Best Practices for Successful Verification

To avoid delays or rejections, please follow these recommendations:

• Use valid, non-expired documents
• Take photos in good lighting without glare or blur
• Ensure all document details are fully visible
• Enter personal information exactly as shown on your document
• Avoid using VPNs or unstable network connections during verification
